salmon ,halibut fishing west coast vancouver island british columbia

The 2010 Port Renfrew fishing season is off to a good start. Fishing for both salmon and halibut are going strong, providing the weather is co-operating. Salmon weighing 8 to 20 pounds have been common and halibut from 20 to 125 lbs are also being caught. Come check out some fun south-west Vancouver Island fishing!

picking up a few halibut rangeing from 20 to 60 pounds salmon has slowed for the moment but should pick up soon

Fishing for winter chinook and halibut has been very productive latey salmon weighing 5 to 14 pounds are being caught on a regular basis as well as halibut 20 to 50 pounds . shrimp and crab in basin are good as well . Viciousfishcharters has added a 27ft North west alluminum boat with heated cabin to the fleet i will be posting pictures asap

DUE TO A EL NINO CURRENT WE HAVE BEEN GETTING SOME VERY LARGE HUMBOLT SQUID WHICH ARE GREAT FUN ON LIGHT TACKLE!!!! I HAVE DAYS AVAILABLE IN SEPT DONT DELAY!!!!go fishing today!!!!

The Fishing on the West Coast of Vancoouver is still going strong (port renfrew) some LARGER coho (slivers) are starting to show up as well as some good sized chinooks and halibut !!
